Eastwood Hall

Beautiful location. We walked the grounds, saw some wildlife and the oldest of trees and plenty of robins. Lovely and peaceful. The main property dates back to 1800s with further builds through the years. It is beautifully furnished and very well presented in the reception areas and throughout. Details a plenty. With courtyard seating and each table location having a blanket provided when the evenings turn cooler was a lovely detail. The rooms are excellent. Modern, comfortable and cool palettes with pictures denoting the history of the area. DH Lawrence featured in my room. Beautiful colour schemes. Very relaxing and all the comforts of home provided. Breakfast is excellent and highly recommended set in a clean, hygienic dining area and a varied menu of all things breakfast! The staff on each encounter were professional, polite, helpful and friendly. In fact they went above and beyond when we stayed at the hotel and ensured our stay was very comfortable. We were very happy with our stay at Eastwood Hall.

The hotel grounds are beautiful, well kept and full of wildlife. We really enjoyed walking round and spotting all the different birds and even saw a couple of rabbits and squirrels 😊 The hotel is scrupulously clean and the staff are friendly, polite and helpful. The food was very enjoyable with plenty of options, especially at breakfast. Can't remember the last time we enjoyed a buffet breakfast so much. Drinks at the bar are reasonably priced, especially for a 4 star hotel. The bedroom was clean, comfortable and spacious and the provided toiletries were of good quality. Towelling gowns were provided along with a lovely welcome pack of drinks and snacks and a handwritten card. A lovely touch which we weren't expecting. The pool, hot tub, sauna etc were unfortunately out of action which was a disappointment however, we were lucky that the weather was good so we compensated by a walk in the grounds and a nice cold drink on the terrace where we could enjoy the beautiful surroundings and the bird song. We were given a 20% discount on our drinks in the restaurant that evening which I presume was a goodwill gesture in light of the leisure facilities being unavailable. Again, this was another nice touch which highlighted the excellent customer service here. In the evening we went into nearby Eastwood town centre and were surprised by the excellent choice of micropubs. As real ale fans we were spoilt for choice. We will definitely be coming back to Eastwood hall soon! Our stay was excellent.

From the minute we walked into the hotel, we were greeted with smiles and a friendly welcome. Our rooms were superb and very comfortable. The facilities catered for all and again all staff were amenable and friendly. The pool was delightful and a very welcomed experience after a long journey. Our evening meal was delicious and presented superbly. The waitress that attended us was lovely and helpful. - An absolute gem and. A member of staff to be treasured. Our morning breakfast was value for money and provided a wide range of choices- the food was great On checking out, again the female member of staff was pleasant. Overall this was a first rate experience and we will have no hesitation in making another booking.

We stayed with our dog and it was perfect. The room was near a fire exit, so we could easily pop out during our stay for a toilet visit or a quick stroll. We were able to have breakfast with him by sitting outside the restaurant but near enough to bring the food to our table. We were also able to leave him in the room for 40 minutes, so we managed to use the leisure facilities by staggering our visit and sharing some time together in the middle. We were also able to have an evening meal in the restaurant, while he stayed contently in the room after a long walk at the nearby nature reserve.

Absolutely beautiful place, massive with some much to do. Swimming gym games restaurant and bar and the walks on the grounds was amazing. Highly recommended. Staff are really friendly most there to help
